Aston Vantage V8 Steering Problem

I have a 2006 AM Vantage V8 that has a power assisted steering issue. The steering wheel is not returning to the centre when moving so if you were to turn the wheel has to be pulled back to centre so effectively you can turn a corner without needing to have any pressure on the wheel! Fluid is correct type and and topped up and there is no obvious signs of damage on the cooler and pipes and the pump seems to be working. Has anyone had a similar issue so I know where to start to diagnose the problem? thanks

Is this a recent problem that's just started happening?

I've had this once on another car, immediately after I'd had the lower wishbones replaced. I took it back to the mechanic, and they solved it but not sure how exactly.

Yes its a recent issue but I will take a look at the wishbones to see if anything is causing an issue thanks.
