Easy Secure Option To Transfer Funds From EU

I've had various ebay bidders wanting to buy items from the EU £20 - £500

I'm loathe to accept PPal due to the risk of chargebacks

I have been using bank transfer but that costs me £7 and apparently on a £60 item, a Greek bank wants to charge £23 to the buyer

What are the alternatives ?

Apparently Friends and Family PPal isn't an option in the EU (or at least Greece)

To be clear I have no issue with reasonable fees but £30 on a £60 item doesn't seem very reasonable

Have you or your bidder looked at Transferwise?

I've used it to pay someone from Chennai who provides services to my company from my UK account (in rupees). Painless and cheap.

I haven't, although it popped up in google when I was looking into paypal alternatives as I'd never heard of it I thought I'd ask a general question on here.

+1. I used Transferwise a lot when I lived in Germany and it was very straightforward. Low fees as well.
