Looking for a sim deal to replace my Three Business sim.

Currently getting unlimited everything + 20GB tethering data with free roaming in some countries. Costs me £21 inc VAT.

I use about 8-16GB of data on average but I'm sick and tired of lack of network, slow speeds and awful customer service so want to change...

I've come across VOXI who currently have 20GB data + bits for £15 a month. Vodafone rate pretty for speeds in my area so thinking about signing up.

Is anyone a VOXI customer or have any experiences?

Interesting. Reviews seem fairly mixed.

When you say data rates are bad, how bad is bad? I'm currently getting 0.8 - 4 Mbps with Three so as long as it's better than that I dont care!

I quite like Voxi. I moved my wife onto them a month or so ago, and have been impressed enough that I switched my own phone over to them after 9 years with Three (blagging us each a £10 Amazon voucher as a referral).

It's a very half-hearted attempt at an MVNO, everything is Vodafone branded - carrier name, voicemail, SIM card. Feels more like another Vodafone plan rather than a separate entity. Signal and more importantly speeds are identical to the Vodafone business SIM supplied by my employer.

I originally signed my wife up to the £10/6GB plan. I was impressed that during the current £10/8GB promotion I was able to opt her phone onto that plan from next month onwards.

Not that that currently matters - they aren't currently monitoring any usage as the system is either broken or under construction, so it's effectively unlimited data for £10 until that changes.

The only downsides so far are the lack of wifi calling and I've lost some of the additional roaming countries that Three provided, but I can forgive that for the price.

No experience of VOXI but I switched from Giff Gaff (O2) to Smarty (Three) and couldn't believe how crap the signal was - couldn't make a call in the house.
Switched back to Giff Gaff who, in fairness, have always had a reliable service.
Could have gone elsewhere but transferring your number can be a real PITA if it transpires the service is rubbish - but again, it took far longer transferring it to Smarty than back to Giff Gaff (very quick)

I'm sure the coverage on Three used to be better, and I'm not thinking back to the days when they had a 2G roaming agreement. The speeds certainly used to be higher.

I still have a Three SIM in my car. The car modem signal and paired phone signal are displayed side by side. I kept half an eye on it during a cross-country journey from Reading to North Oxfordshire yesterday, with the expection of one village Voxi/Vodafone was consistently better.

Completely forgot about this post. Thought I Should update!

I switched to VOXI. Everything's worked perfectly. Bill has been £15 every month so far, no extra charges. I've no idea how much data I've been using but obviously not enough to get blocked or charged and I use the phone online for 2 hours each day on the train and mostly all day streaming music via Apple Music. Social is included in the plan as unlimited so I guess that keeps the fees down.

Everything is branded as Vodafone, even the carrier logo on the phone screen is Vodafone. Haven't missed wi-fi calling. In fact I much prefer it without as my calls don't drop out now when it decides to switch from wifi to 4G. The wifi on the underground also connects more frequently when on the tube compared to 3.

Speeds are good, getting about 70MB down and 22 MB up with 2 bars of signal at home. It also doesn't drop out on the train at all anymore like it did on 3.

I'm very happy.

Any idea if it works well indoors in Surrey hills?
