Extending Car lease is road tax still included

Hi All,

Sorry if this has come up before but I couldn’t find anything when searching

I’ve been offered a good deal by VWFS to extend my current lease but was wondering if road tax is still included in a lease?

It’s not mentioned on any of the new finance quote but not sure it would be.

I guess I’m hoping someone here has extended before and has experience if this?

If you are extending your current deal which includes road tax, then unless it explicitly states that you don't get it if you extend, then you get it.

Yes, it’s definitely still included. I have had a few leases with VWFS, one of which was extended.

So rather than speak to Volkswagen, who will give you a straight yes/no, you're relying on this forum to be correct at the risk of getting done for driving a car with no VED.

For those suggesting speak to VW. I posted the thread around 10pm looking for a quick answer before going to sleep. If VWFS has a call centre open at that time I would have called them.
