I'm going to tell my mrs - Today! - you should do the same

Mrs Toothless discovered that the Co-Op do a line in kitchen rolls that are perforated into rectangles rather than squares. Two rectangles make up the normal square. She was convinced that this would halve our kitchen paper expenditure.
I am delighted to tear off two bits at a time when she isn't looking.

Get yourself down to Costco and buy:
1 jumbo pack of Costco kitchen roll
1 jumbo pack of Costco blue paper roll
Keep in garage and only let her have 1 kitchen roll at a time, when she brings you the empty cardboard center from the last one.
You will for ever have the choice of kitchen roll or blue paper roll depending on job, and more importantly control of the kitchen roll.
P.S. - Each sheet of Costco kitchen roll is about 3 foot square and an inch thick*.

- may be a slight exaggeration, but compared to 'normal' kitchen roll it certainly feels like it.

Stop buying cheap kitchen paper, woman. It's useless. Especially for car stuff.
Put her straight. Immediately. That's what I say.
Buy your own, the big blue rolls. Put her straight. Immediately. That's what I say.
(that's what I do after being caught red handed with the best Christmas paper towels)
