Update about my CBT failure:(
Discussion
Howdy folks,
Just wanna do a little update about my previous post after which I went silent on here for a little while. However I did rebook my CBT for the second time. The day went well however yet again I didn't get my certificate. Did an hour on the road before we rode back and they didn't want to pass me. Just yesterday, I took my third and final CBT. Both of the instructors were confident in my ability right from the start, saying how much I've improved. After my gruelling 2 hours on the road I finally got my certificate! Getting my bike next week, just can't wait!!!!
Thanks for the supportive messages on my previous post and the not very nice ones (Opened my eyes to the fact I was being a bit of a whimp)
Happy Riding!

good man,
and good to see the CBT is not an automatic pass, you need to be safe especially on a bike.
Look at it this way you got loads more road time with supervision before going it alone.
Take ya time and dont get too excited your mind starts wondering (i drove into back of a car within 20 mins of being on road alone back in the day)

Great news and echo the comments above. If you have the chance so a bikesafe once you've gotten a bit more confidence riding alone - I did when I was on my 125 and it was actually brilliant fun, led me onto IAM and then trackdays etc. All of which will boost your confidence and control, which is so critical on a bike.

Well done, keep at it, nice to hear of a new rider being excited about riding, i remember that feeling when I was 17, after months of staring through the window at 125 sports bikes
You should never stop training & learning, even after your test is passed. Thats when the real learning starts

Passing your test is a great buzz, I recall it well. The first few rides without instructors present were quite surreal for me, but it’s the best way to learn, just don’t ride beyond your ability until you get some miles under your belt.
Always be conscious of your bike’s condition, chain, tyres, brakes etc and keep on top of the maintenance. Enjoy!
