I wondered if somebody could help me!

I have a car with xpel ppf. I have recently used Gyeon Q2m tar remover on the sills of my car (which have PPF).

To quote the Gyeon website., 'Unlike most tar removers, Q²M Tar does not affect any exterior surfaces and is bodywork safe. It can be used on paint, glass, plastic trim, both painted and unpainted. As it is pH neutral, it can also be used to remove tar spots from bare polished lips'.

Since using it, the area I sprayed it on has gone a bit hazy, almost like a matt finish. It's difficult to get a good photo but I have tried below with an arrow indicating where it starts.

Washing the car with normal cleaning products does nothing to remove it. Does anybody have any suggestions to what I could use please?

How did you use the tar remover, was it sprayed on and wiped away? Also, was it rinsed off afterwards?

First up, try gentle heat to see if the film will self help and clear up the hazy patch.
From there, a light finishing polish by hand.

Thank you for the reply. It was rinsed off afterwards. I will give that a go.
