Not too superb hopefully, the blower doesn't like it! 400SX was down on power last heatwave...

Happy driving everyone.

Best thing about driving in hot weather … is eventually my many stone chips are lost amongst the dead flies . I think the pool may be busy...hmmmm … do Wedges float ?

Have a good trip.

We did Alan, we did.

On the way back my engine developed a rattling sound around 1500 rpm.

It wasn't tappets though as on idle the clacking went away.

On closer inspection looks like probably a trumpet has worked loose - the rattling is under the plenum - looks like the heat did for it, even the high-temperature Loktite gave up. (Unless it's one that I hadn't had to stick back in).

Phew - as they say - what a scorcher.
