VW Car Net

Hi, my first time posting on the VW forum after receiving my Tiguan SEL on Monday.
I'm just wondering if it's worth connecting to the car net connect thingy ; I have the car on a 2 year lease and I think you get 3 years access with the SEL.
After hitting Google for info, some think it's good, whilst others say it's a waste of time so I was looking for real world pinions.
I've hooked up Android auto, which I find really good, so not sure on car net.
Any info would be gratefully received!

If you're happy using Android Auto then Carnet is pointless; stick with the former.

I won't bother connecting then.

If you do have it, why not?

I do use it, mainly as it lets me look at the various traffic jams on the way to work and pick the best route.

I tend to use waze, which does the same. I may hook it up this weekend and see what happens.

I've had it in the last 2 cars. I've used it precisely once.

Android Auto is superior in absolutely every way.
