Help in buying a shed

Unfortunately due to rust my daily (Honda Accord ) had to be scrapped and I'm now looking for a shed for around the £ 500 quid mark with about 6 months MOT and manual,age does not matter in anyways

Any ideas and suggestions for me ,Im based in Woking,Surrey area

for 500 i'd just be looking for something nearby with a decent amount of mot , your in no position to be too picky.

i'd probably go for petrol not diesel as the engines are simpler .

true Auto trader is one option and gumtree FB market place is full of cars with less than 2 months MOT in my area or got terminal issues

any other sites I can use?

ebay , but at this price point facebook is probably best .

stick a post up saying what's available for 500 .

one of my colleagues has a battered (body wise) but mechanically sound MK1 (its a 2001 model I think) 2 door version and he has agreed to think it over during the weekend and then get back to me if he will sell it

If he does agree what would be a good ballpark figure to offer him as I'm not too sure what to offer as I also dont want to offend him nor pay over the market rate ,It has a years MOT

Just use the filters on autotrader or eBay - and sort by price. You might end up with something interesting.

If I were to look for specific models for shedding at minimal outlay, I’d go Toyota - a Corolla or Yaris.

a garage guy is offering me a Daewoo Matiz 54 plate with an years MOT for £400

reckon its good,personally im wary as spares will be tough and also because im 6 ft talll so not sure if I can squeeze into it

just missed out a 52 plate Corrolla for 390

No chance I would buy a Daewoo. Focus is the way to go.

Full history from new and needs nothing, ice cold aircon etc

Chevy on a 54 surely? Wouldn't touch it with a long boat stick whatever though. Focus or Astra at that price range.

I wouldn't touch a Matiz with someone elses.

A quick seach of Ebay , how about this one, although its a bit far away they may do a deal with transport?

2005 Focus 1.6 , 6months MOT, nothing particularly worrying in the last MOT in so far as it should manage at least 6 months.

Another vote for a Ford Focus.

Reliable, parts are plentiful and relatively simple to fix if or when something goes wrong.

Came from my local Gumtree shed car dealer.

Words of wisdom though when using Gumtree... be wary of cars that you've advertised for sale by various sellers/anything with no V5/selling for a mate/wife doesn't like it/too big for the wife as it's 99% bullst

there is a 53 plate Mini copper with an MOT till feb 2020 for 500 quid what do you guys feel about it?
