Playing golf at Littlestone yesterday. As ever the usual buzz of Cessnas on their finals into Lydd, later on the HMC Sikorsky on another training session.

Then the howl of jet engines and in to view on a steep climb comes the most unusual commercial jet I've ever seen. Chunky bit of kit with 2 engines mounted above the wings . I had no idea as to what or why until a Google session when I got home.

An Antonov An-74 heavy lift jet chartered to repatriate a Rhinoceros from Aspinall's zoo park near Canterbury to its rightful natural habitat in Africa, a 17 hour journey.

Now that was a bit different, don't see too many rhinos over the Marsh...

Hope they knocked it out good, wouldn't want that fella coming round mid flight would you.

Mind, ryanair have probably seen worse.

Sadly the rhino died on the plane, cant grab link but on BBC news now.
