Just assuming you’re not a troll but a misguided power crazy control freak do you honestly think denying young people the toilet when they need it is anything other than cruel? You have no idea of medical, anxiety or other issues they might have. If I found out you were doing that in a school my kids attended I’d have you up in front of the headmaster and governors with a written complaint. Idiot.

Certainly not trollingIf I am aware of a medical problem it is no issue. They do get a 20 minute break and an hour for lunch.

As a teacher I cannot leave 30 10 year olds unsupervised to go to the loo, I have to go during my breaks.
I'm sure at worst you could get someone to keep an eye on two classes if you desperately needed it.Encourage them to go at break times by all means, but it's nuts not to let them go if they need to. Especially with some of the temperatures we're starting to see, I'd rather have my kids drinking a bit too much than worrying about someone not letting them go to the toilet.

Obviously if they are practically dying to go an exception is madeEncourage them to go at break times by all means, but it's nuts not to let them go if they need to.
