I need to replace the wire that runs from the -ve coil connection to the distributor (white with a yellow stripe). Does anyone know what current capacity the wire should be? Is this just a signal wire to fire the coil or does it carry a higher current?

Thinwall cable is real good as it stands up to the engine heat very well

The below size will do the job nicely @11 Amp rated

010701 16/0.20, 0.5mm², 11.0A - cable OD 1.6mm

Can be found here

Any standard PVC 14/030 8 to 8.5 Amp rated will do though
