Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder - VIP customer preview

Just got an invite to see the Gallardo Spyder (ordered one) on Sat 4th June in London. Not Allowed camera's , phones, no press, huge security, only get in with photo ID with details matching what they already have. Not allowed to say where and you have to get a personalised pass from Automobili Lamborghini or you aint coming in

Spoke to Steve at Lamborghini London this week and he invited me.... 30 minutes after I arranged to work on Saturday!

Is it the flash or is it actually completely blank apart from the Lamborghini badge in the corner?

Is it like a Grand Prix paddock pass with a chip in it maybe?

As i didnt get to attend the doo, can someone tell me if i was right to go for the gallardo spider rather than a 430 Spider ?

We went - and the car was absolutely gorgeous! Order definitely going in.... The roof mechanism is superb and the car looks fabulous

Not sure on price although we were told when we test drove the coupe a few months ago that the spyder would be approx 10% more than the coupe. Apparently the car will hopefully officially be launched in Frankfurt in Sept and the first cars are expected in the UK by Jan 06. If you ordered now, you would hopefully get the car by the end of 2006....
