The latest on the towing capacity posting

Just to let everbody know. I have just spoken to the traffic police and they go by the kerb weight of the tow car. He said for novice towers they suggest towing 85% of the kerb weight. For experienced, 100% of kerb weight.

So if you ignore the 750kg braked limit set by Colt that would enable you to tow about 880kg based on a Kerbweight of just over a tonne ? (Assuming 85%)

Not sure I would want to exceed the manufacturers limit though
