According to a link on another thread, it said it had a Honda/Rover 2.5 V6 amidships, so I'm guessing the chassis could be related to the GTM Libra or the Phantom Vortex.

And yes, it's 'orrible.

Sorry Sam, but there's no way that's related to the Libra. I can't begin to imagine the alterations to the monococque required to make that body fit over it. Remember that the Libra roof structure is an integral part of the car which goes someway to giving it it's phenomenal rigidity (14000 Nm/deg)
I would have to suggest that this McLaren Replica () has a steel chassis of some sort.

I actually own a 3 door Ibiza 1.4 (don't. really. walking and public transport are better). It is, quite possibly, the least fun car in the world. Why you'd do that to one is beyond me

Seriously, I think all that is wrong with it is the bottom bit is not in proportion to the top bit. Could easily be fixed but would personally spend the money on something else.

Reminds me of some of the awful 'exotics'supercar replicas' about in the 1970s/early 80s, most of which were based on a VW Beetle floorpan.

No idea what that thing is based on, but ain't MR2 or Fiero. Would guess at a custom chassis.

It's pretty hideous but was obviously someones passion so full credit for giving it a go at least.

I have a horrible feeling it's based on a metro tho.

I agree, we may not like it.. but at least he's got more ability than me in making it. He just needs some glasses, thats all!
