Hi guys just wondering what’s everyone’s using for coding and reading fault codes? Recently bought myself a golf 7R just want to play around with a few of the options, after a quick search seems everybody’s using Carly, VCDS, odbeleven, would I be okay with either of these? Are they all iPhone compatible and I know Carly require a annual subscription fee is that the case with the others too? Ideally I’d like something without a subscription, but not too fussed. Many thanks

Another vote for OBDEleven. I think iOS capability is in the pipeline for later this year.

Best? VCDS... but it's a lot more expensive than the other options.

it is, but have a look on eBay for the resale value of a genuine one. You can always get (most of ) your money back.
