Cleaning my Speedboat

I keep our 22ft speed boat at a dry stack. Normally I get it valeted every few months by their valeting guy but he is becoming very expensive and won't do anything other than full valets. I was thinking of putting it on the tinkering racks there and cleaning it myself with my pressure washer/ vacuum. I was just going to clean it the same way I clean the cars, is this the right/ best way to do it?

My tip would be: after washing the boat, raise the front of the trailer/bow of the boat up so that excess water goes out the bung-hole.
