Porsche GT4 trackday DB reading

I’m looking to do a few trackdays this summer but the likes of Oulton Park have a drive by limit of 92db. What is the typical DB reading for a GT4 drive by? I don’t want to attend to be kicked off within the first half hour or is it a case of only attending the noisy days

I have never had a problem.

Accepted the drive by limit seems low, but it depends upon where the microphones are. The static is 105dB and the GT4 came in at 104dB ...

I have now put a quieter exhaust on mine which comes in at a couple of dB lower ... it gained me power as well but only as one part of some fairly significant modifications, and live re-mapped for the compete system.

Thanks Chris, I'll see what its like as standard and if i get any problems ill look at moving to a new exhaust system. I've been following your build thread and interested to see how your lap times compare. Certainly sounds like the car is far more planted and pulls like a train in any gear. Hopefully see you on track at some point this year
