Hi everybody

I've read and read about upgrades on the tds e34 including an engine swap but I've figured upgrading the turbo and IC is probably the most cost effective way to go

So as anybody here done it? I've already done the Endtuning chip and got good results (dynoed the car @176Hp and 380Nm) but with LSD and the M5 17' wheels I feel the car needs a bit more Power..

Thanks in advance

M

Engine swap is silly in this car (Mtech with new eibach Pro Kit)

It's a great way to blow up an old M51. A conrod through the block was the usual result. It makes amusing reading though!

Sorry, I didn't realise your original suggestion was the sensible option!

Not that Mtech or Eibach pro have anything to do with the engine!

I have little experience of modding the M51 apart from doing remaps. These made the car smoke lots, use lots of fuel (27mpg in a 325tds Touring) and go very fast.

Re further upgrades, maybe a GT2256V turbo is an upgrade. I have one for sale on EBay. I know some people have fitted an M57 as an upgrade, this has huge potential-but all the bits attached to the engine must be upgrade to match.

Thanks Helix
I've read about the GT2256 and 2260 so that's what I'm thinking is probably the way to go

Thanks again
