Tell me I've done the right thing

Well I've fancied a Cerbera for a few years now. Did the ususal thing with Autotrader a few weeks ago, and found one just up the road at a local Maserati dealership. I've been pestering them ever since, but the car wasn't delivered until late last week. It then spent some time in the workshop having a few details attended to (brake discs, alternator etc etc.). I got the call today to say it was ready for the showroom floor. Took it out for a run and couldn't get my cheque book out fast enough. Upshot is; I pick her up next Friday. Now I want all of you to tell me I've done the right thing.....
From reading the previous posts, I believe yellow ones are the fastest. Is this correct? If so, this must be the fastest out there. There is none more yellow. And now I expect a load of replies saying that I've bought a dog.
1998 4.5. Was originally registered as S6 NNA. Any history?

You've bought a dog ;-) They're all dogs when they go wrong, lol.
Welcome to Cerb ownership, done the right thing for sure. You will have the odd issue, mines been off the road more than on since I've had it, but thats only due to logistics and getting it booked into the place I wanted to look at.
You will enjoy the car, and if its attention you want, well you bought the right color, I like yellows, but I ended up with a Blue as it just felt like the right car, and the common Cerb issues aside, Im sure it is :-)
You'll also find some very helpful assistance on this site for issues/questions etc, I have found it that way.

This isn't the perils car is it. Yellow with yellow spiders and yellow dials. I think even yellow carpets. Yellowest car I've ever seen. If it is then it's bound to be a good one. Ray really looked after that car from the impression I got when I met him.

Yellow carpets? What in God's name? No!!! Got the yellow dials though. Spiders too, but not yellow ones.
Went in with eyes wide open, and under no illusions of everyday reliability. 12 months warranty for parts and labour, so I should be able to sleep nights. Won't be used every day, unless it turns out as good as you all say. The last thing I experienced with acceleration like this had two wheels and 160bhp.
So what's the next step? Rip the CD player out so I can listen to the snap crackle pop? And does anyone know of any TVR-savvy garages along the South coast? I'm just outside Bournemouth.

Congratulations. You are right about yellow. They made a few Cerbs that weren't yellow for the retired civil servant market and tuned them accordingly.
a good point. you know, except that i do. no-one uses their cerb more than me- 10,000 miles in three months entitles me to an idea at least, though i will totally bow down to BB's obvious superior knowledge, as you will quickly discover, he's God around here
