Anybody give me an idea if it's necessary to insure a small 2 wheel trailer.
If so how much roughly?

You mean when it's being towed ? Your car insurance should cover it, but I'd check. Luckily mine was covered when someone opened their car door just as the wheel of the trailer went past: laugh

No need to check. All policies cover trailers whilst attached, for third party risks. If you need comp cover for the trailer, then you need to buy it.
