With AM being the Chosen One this year at Goodwood FOS, I'm surprised I haven't seen anything on here about it. Perhaps I've just missed it...

Anybody planning to go? It's been over 10 years since I last went, and bought the tickets as soon as they were released to the public last November. Will be there on Friday. Nice surprise to only learn the other day about AM having been chosen. 1pm will be the "Aston Martin Moment", front of Goodwood House. Can't wait!

I'm there Thursday and Friday too, in my N420 roadster. AMOC tried to arrange something once they found out, but unfortunately it was already too late.

Sounds like there will be a few of us! Pity that I can't bring the Vantage along as legally I can't drive with my son on the roof...

I will be there Sunday.

Does being an owner get you any special privileges, for instance you can get into a grandstand with Mercedes keys and a cup of coffee with Audi keys etc.

Perhaps they will have a bigger presence this year, being the spotlight marque, but last year Aston's stand was pretty small and had zero perks for owners.

No public details I can see.

Not sure it’s a thing organised by Goodwood with or without input from
AM.

Looking on the map of the show they have a much bigger stand, in fact one of the biggest.

I would guess the Aston moment is the official opening of the centre sculpture which I guess is AM focused

Best guess is Dr Palmer having a quiet moment counting his deserved legacy in used £10 notes...

If it is like the Ferrari 'moment' it should be pretty good, the Ferrari one had the prancing horse on flags draped over Goodwood house, a speech by the then Lord March, fireworks and a collection of Ferraris on the 'driveway' round the sculpture - there were some pretty rare 'rraris ... so Id expect around about the same from AM ... we will soon see!

Spoiler alert - image shows the sculpture in front of the house. Don't open if you want to keep the surprise for your visit this weekend.

Watched the Aston moment display. Definitely worth it if you are an Aston fan. Must admit we watched on TV from the Aston pavilion since it is a bit hot ! Won’t spoil the surprise for those going.

Was talking to the dealer servicing my car today who said that Aston have 6 card fettled specifically for Goodwood and there will be ten of each made for sale... It does sound like an Aston extravaganza. He thought it could do no harm taking our keys along, we are a rare breed with thus far only 100,000 Astons having been made since 1904, so he says. Compares with over a million 911's....

I am attending tomorrow but similarly the Aston remains at homes I convey clients to the event! Are there PistonHeads Aston tee-shirts available?
