Bought my son a 1990 Eunos Roadster when he turned 16 as a project to get some hands on mechanical experience. We've been restoring and upgrading it for the last three years and Le Mans 2019 was our first major road trip in it. It's done 132,000+ miles now but used no oil on the trip and returned a reasonable 35mpg, given that she was fully loaded. No issues with the car but did have to free up a seized rear brake caliper before we headed home. Definately going to go again next year. The locals seemed to love my son's car :-)

Later this summer we are driving it over to Monaco for a few days. Going to get the car all stickered up for that too :-)

More Le Mans 24 photos and videos on my Instagram feed - https://www.instagram.com/robcollingridge/

We did the pit lane tour on the Friday and also managed to get down to watch the race start ( video - https://www.instagram.com/p/Byu6gdoAbvq/ ) and the podium at the race end ( photo - https://www.instagram.com/p/Byxc-IbAMag/ ).

My first Le Mans 24. Been meaning to go loads of times before but never quite made it. Will do it again.

That sounds brilliant, a great trip to finish off 3 years of hard work!

Nice one.
I took my stepson and nephew for their first Le Le Mans this year, both are well and truly obsessed with it and Corvettes.

I look forward to the day I can go in their Corvettes one day in the very distant future

Very nice. I took my Eunos to the Le Mans Classic seven years ago and to the main race two years ago. Loads of fun.

I haven't done it yet, but you can do track laps at the Classic if your car qualifies. All MX5s qualified last time.

Hi Ben, good to meet you. We should be back next year on the same campsite :-)
