Did a search on the forum this morning and found out some great information on my TVR. My car is Halcyon Space Blue and I wanted to see how rare the colour is. While doing this I stumbled across my car!!. It was owned by a member of the forum with the online name M@H. He has not been on the site for a very long time but was quite active. I think he used to offer pre inspections on TVR's for other members. There is loads of information on here about my Chimaera.
Best of all the chap who owned my car did a chassis restoration and with pictures and a very detailed account of the work. I was able to print this all off and put it with my service history. It's a shame M@H is not still active on the forum. I would like to thank him for the fantastic job he did on the car. Because of all his efforts my chassis is in absolutely first class order with no rust or other nasties. This was one of the main reasons I bought it.
During his restoration of the chassis numerous other upgrades were done such as Racing Red suspension all round which I am sure helps the handling of the car greatly. I have spent the last 6 months tidying up various other parts of the car (engine bay, interior etc.) Problem is now I am running out of things to do on it!!!!!
Also I see on google when you type in TVR Halcyon Space Blue my car is the first picture on images (number plate was P400 FUN). The internet certainly has made the world much smaller!
