Shame Redding isn't doing the wildcard, but Hickman is riding a BMW instead of Reiterberger as he's sick and it looks like Van Der Mark has been passed fit so no Tax McKenzie unfortunately.

I'm going on Sunday, never been to Donington for races before, only for Ron Haslam. Where is a good place to park, ideally to get out quickest. Think we'll be on bikes and looking to watch somewhere around craner or the old hairpin.

I pre-booked parking at starkeys for £10 but unfortunately that's just for a car, they won't allow 2 bikes to park in that one space. Is that a good place to park if we decide to go in the car?

Unfortunately it’s not happening, I just asked on Twitter. Wonder if they’ve got someone else, but can’t think who.

Redding's social media shows that he is at Donington, wonder if he'll sub in

Doubt it, I believe PBM don’t allow riders to ride other bikes hence Brookes not doing the TT this year, but I could be mistaken

I’m currently standing between Redgate and Craner. A wee bit soggy, but hoping JR can get some points back on Alvaro.

Apparently he wanted to do it, Paul Bird wanted him to do it, Ducati wanted him to do it, MSV wanted him to do it.
Presumably they all wanted one of the others to pay for it.

He’ll have Davies’ bike next year anyway.

Just not seen it mentioned anywhere.

Had been thinking about going up to watch specifically because he was racing. Good job I didn't.

I been saying all year Alvaro will be fine on tracks he knows, but on tracks he does not he will struggle.

But let's be honest if he throws this away on a bike half a second a lap faster than the field, well he deserves a rocket.

Stupid crash.

Great ride for Hicky too, but then you expect it I think.

Apparently he was only 1.4 sec slower in that sector under red flags than race pace.

Way too fast. Only got himself to blame and I think if it wasn’t for JR going fast too, and others, race control may have had more to say + possible grid penalties etc.

They kept saying Peter Hickman wasn't used to the electronics but he's had electronics on his Road Race bikes.

Bit late to the conversation but I only watched the rest of the highlights over breakfast. It was the first time I've watched the ssp300 race but I'm definitely going to watch it again. That was totally nuts, hope no one got hurt in the crashes but the racing was incredible.
