Have 1996 Chim 39000 have problem that comes and goes, we live in France came back to UK couple days this week she ran like angel till arriving before returning from Portsmouth filled up with fuel then she would not idle, after while turned her off started then ok, got off the boat this morning no problem, I have had this before, it clears its self, sometimes if not run for a while she will hunt, then again after while clears any one any thoughts

Possibly a sticky stepper motor. Read up about stepper motor function and it’s effects on idle performance.
Download ECUMATE operating instructions that detail all this in plain English, well worth a read.
First step would be to remove stepper from plenum chamber and clean it and see if that cures it. Sticky stepper is usually a sign it’s near the end of its reliable life.
Could be other problems but best to look at stepper first. Hope that helps
