I just needed to vent some of my anger, not having a good start to the day...
Getting ready for work this morning I went and put all my stuff in J-Lo (the TVR) thinking that it looks like it could be a nice day and a topless drive home would be good. Locked her up and went inside to hurry up the gf. Came back outside and she wouldn't open, nothing, nada. So had to slum it in the Audi. Leaving all the stuff I need for work today in car. grrrrrr
Then driving Des the Audi round to the car park I was waiting at a set of lights when I heard someone sounding their horn, I turned to see this suited middle aged merc driver (who looked like he had a bad smell under his nose) trying to pull behind me into this narrow side street with his barge of a car. And apparently he required me to pull forward the one inch I could move so he could get behind me. I'm kicking myself now but I actually did move, why why why?!?! but then got no recognision for doing this, not even a smile (I think his face would have cracked). I wish I'd been in a banger and I'd have accidentally slipped in the reverse and rammed the f**ker! What a rude little sh!t, I also apologise to the Audi driver behind me the hand gesture wasn't meant for you
Sorry for letting this out on you lot, but seen as though the Government have the queens birthday off there's hardly anybody in work today (apart from us mercenary contractors!)
Sorry again

You have given your cars, names ???????????????
Yeah I knowit's so the gf knows which one is which
J-Lo = the chimaera = it's got a big @rse!
Des = Audi = it's reg plate started DE5
I'll get my coat...
What's wrong with that. My first car was an Astra (Lavista)
Then I had the Sierra (Leone)
Now I've got Reggie the Renault

And the problem with that is...? Surely its courteous driving practice to do that - its no skin off your nose. OK, so you may not get thanks for it, but you know you've done the right thing.
Why would you want to deliberately sit there and block someone else when you could move one inch and be out of their way?

DAMNIT! I was driving my Merc to work today (I'm a brain surgeon and had just received an emergency call to the hospital) and some chav in an Audi deliberately blocked my turn.
I got the impression from his unconcerned look that he might be one of those wierdos who gives his car a name...

1. I must the oldest chav on the block!!
2. It is an actual S3 not a chav machine looking like a S3
3. GET A CAR THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY DRIVE
did the brain surgery go ok

I should rename this thread into "What's your car called?" or "Are you sad enough to name your cars? (Like me)"
I had a mini called Benny, because he was slow and brown (like benny from crossroads and his hat)
Where did I put that jacket...still looking...
In the words of my own Dad: "I can't stand beetles and 2CVs - they're driven by the sort of people who give their cars names".
Coming from a man who once owned a grey Morris Minor with go-faster stripes, Wolfrace alloys and a brassed/chromed engine bay - and every Morris Minor I've ever seen has a name too!
