Relocating to Germany from UK - managing finances?

Hi all,

I'm relocating to Germany for a role that will mean I'm paid in euros. Plan is to open a bank out there, but I still have a mortgage on a property in the UK.

Does anyone have experience shifting money around, investing, dealing with mortgages, pensions etc. Whilst working in Europe?

Plan will be to keep property in the UK for a few months then potentially sell it, rent it out or buy somewhere bigger in the UK and fix up/rent out.

I know I'm being vague, but any general advice or experiences appreciated.

You will find it very, very difficult to secure any UK mortgage whilst you are not a UK resident and not paid in Sterling.......
