Anybody tell me where the reversing light switch is on my 87 350 save me hunting round? and can it be adjusted ??? at the moment when I go into 1st and between 1st and 2nd etc the lights give a flash and the bloke behind gets a very worried look on his face.:yikes:

It's mounted in the gearchange housing under the gearstick, on the same side as reverse, naturally enough, and is a brass screw in unit secured with a lock nut. It can be adjusted by releasing the locknut and screwing the body in or out. Sounds like yours only needs a v.small amount of adjustment. You can get to it from underneath the car (easier if the exhaust box is off) or from the top after removing the gearlever gaiters.

Erm... on my car, reverse is to the left of first... and the reverse light switch is on the right-hand side...
