I’m putting a dry sump on my Duratec engined Westfield.

I notice some of the dry sump kits come with an engine block breather blanking plate and you can buy them separately. The Raceline dry sump doesn’t come with one.

Currently, the engine block breather is connected straight into the catch can.

Interested to know why you’d need to block off the engine block breather but not the crank case one...?

I am guessing that some engines require more breathing than others. My high spec Pinto has both breathers running into the catch tank after advice from the engine builder. May be worth contacting someone like retro-ford, they do Duratec installs and can probably advise.
