Looking for my old car

Hi. I'm looking for my old Seat Leon (KM55 XAV) I sold it about 8 years ago in a private sale from morecambe and no idea where the guy came from. But like every good think it has been seared into my head and can't stop thinking what or where it is now. I'd love to potentially get it back. I've done the checks and noticed that it currently SORN. Is there any legal way to do this? I'm sure curiosity isn't really good enough to get the details from DVLA

Oh and it is maroon red and also had a BTCC body kit on it when I sold it

probably crashed then as will have been bought and fully barried I suspect from that point ....
