Rough idle ford Puma scan results - advice please?
Discussion
Morning - hope you are well. Not posted in a while as the Puma has been fine.
Over the past few weeks it has been stalling when pulling up to lights and running rough when idling. I have changed:
MAF sensor
Idle Control Valve
Throttle position sensor
No joy so have had it scanned. The following errors have come up:
>>>>
PO460:
Invalid fuel tank message from cluster
PO122:
Throttle Position Sensor low
P1381:
Variable Cam timing overadvanced, Bank A
I am told these are the possible causes of this last error code
Cam timing improperly set
No oil flow to piston chamber
Low oil Pressure
Solenoid valve stuck closed
Camshaft advance mechanism binding
>>>>
Any thoughts? I am presuming the last 2 of those 3 are most likely to be causing this, possibly most likely the last of these? The cambelt was was changed over 5k ago and has been fine. The car has a small oil leak as highlighted on each MOT and I changed the rocker cover gasket some months ago. I'd like to gather some insight prior to spending more cash. The only 'usual' thing I have not changed is the crankshaft position sensor - could that cause these issues?
Thanks in advance
Pauly

The way you have worded that implies these codes are as read.
What you need to do is clear the codes and see if they come back after a drive.
This may be what you have done.

It's a good point Steve. The garage did these for me whilst I was not there. I will ask but I presume these were indeed cleared beforehand. What you need to do is clear the codes and see if they come back after a drive.
This may be what you have done.
