this is confusing me - is it a body kitted older R129?

i'm sorely tempted to just have a punt as its just down the road and i've got next monday off hehe

anyone got any info on these?

It would have been better if there was a body kit to make a later model look as elegant as a R129.

I agree, everything about it does not make sense. A lovely 1997 R129 has had around £20K spent to make look ghastly. First registered 2000,how come?. yours for around £6000, why?. An immaculate original 97 R129 would fetch something between £12K - £15K today,may be more? .

...and it's been converted to run on LPG too!

They probably liked the look of the newer one but wanted the build, reliability and ride of the legendary R129.

They call it an SLR bodykit however, so it's not meant to look like a an R230.

Without that spitfire engine under the hood though... just not right.
