Stolen scooter, reported but still there
Discussion
There is what I assume to be a stolen scooter nearby. If it is stolen it must be with keys, or it has just been pushed there without keys and left. The number plate is off a Yamaha scooter and clearly it’s a Honda pcx scooter. I reported it to the police but I don’t even know if they’ve attended.
I got my scooter returned in same circumstances as someone reported it, and police contacted me. But mine still had my original plate on it. It saved me a fortune.
This bike could also be returned to its owner, but obviously harder to trace as wrong plate. Does anyone know where the chassis number is on these? Can’t see the headstock cos of plastic. And would it be any use anyway. I feel like putting my own lock around it to stop the thieves getting it away again. f
k them!
TLDR what can I do?
