I am trying to find out what the KERS development cost cap is for 2019/2020.
I know FOTA initially set a €5 million cap and €1 million buy in from other teams.

Don't think they've got down to that level yet from anything I've read. KERS doesn't really exist in the format it did back when those figures we being bandied about (2011). It's the MGU-K now and they're probably still arguing about whether they should drop the MGU-H or not.

I am just looking for some ballpark figures of what is being spent on MGU-K this year and next. Any pointers very welcome!

The only restriction is that each driver is allowed a maximum of 2 MGU-K per season.

How much is actually spent on development is not restricted. As it is an area where significant improvements can still be made, you can bet that it is probably a lot.
