Just a reminder to ensure security settings are set appropriately. Posting exercise activity from abroad reports you’re away and I’ve heard of tri bikes being nicked and the suspicion is the scrotes used strava to identify triathletes and where they lived. True or not, make sure you lock down the privacy, set the exclusion zone and purge followers. I for one didn’t post my holiday runs until I got back.

Ive been on Strava since just after they launched and despite being utterly paranoid about my internet footprint have only ever had an open profile for my activities

Having said that I start every ride outside a house round the corner who are fond of weapons grade fireworks going off until 2AM on many occasions over the year including the night when our youngest child was little and had just got over a dose of norovirus

If Im going in the opposite direction I make a detour to make it look like I live there

I have a clear conscience
