So thanks to letting my passport expire, turns out I'm not going away next week as I'd planned. Schoolboy error, etc, I know.

So I have a week to myself in Britain, a budget of about £4-500 and fancy learning something. Ideally a skill I can work on later and generally enjoy on future weekends.

Front runner at the moment is finding a kitesurfing school and hammering away at that for a few days.

Any other ideas?

I tried a glider flying course, 1 week residential, a great bunch of lads. Loved it.
