Andy, I started off looking at 06 4.3l then budget creep set in, wanted the newer look interior, wanted the lightweight seats, then wanted 4.7l etc etc etc
Ended spending absolute top end of my budget, but think I still got a good deal and for me its literally dream spec. Had been looking for so long I almost settled on a 10 plate with standard seats in black, but glad I didnt.
Good things come to those who wait as they say. Sitting in it is such an experience! And looking at it isnt bad either, cant wait for it to arrive.

I always think it's a great idea to post a pic of your new car in a cemetery, it certainly adds to the sense of occasion.

You made me chuckle Steven.
Did you like my joke, near the foot of this page?

Subtle humour, and you might have to look up the name. As a clue, you would never want to exceed any speed limit when he is your passenger, so a power upgrade might not be helpful.

Oh Jon, I had a look at your link in order to appraise your subtle humour.
Not for the first time the humour was so subtle that it passed me over.
Now I'm sure that's my fault as I don't have your great depth of knowledge, if you keep the humour such that simpletons comme moi can understand I can chucke too.
Now I shall humour you....who is Peter Goodman ?

I did not know either. Had to first look up, to find the name of the Chief Constable of Derbyshire.
Imagine driving a modified Vantage, trying to demonstrate the extra power, with the Chief Constable in the passenger seat.
Just a funny situation to me. I would be driving slower than Miss Daisy.
