Question about G50

I've traced the small amounts of fluid my Sport was occasionally leaving a trace of on the garage floor. It's gearbox oil coming out from the oval shaped panel bolted on just up and back from the drive-shaft. Now this is used as the takeoff for one of the breather hoses. One of the 2 bolts that hold this on just turns and turns. Hence a little oil can escape. Question - do these bolts just tighten into a thread in the casing ? So I can just undo and pull out without fear of something falling off inside the box ?

Yep. There are two tapped holes, probably M8 if memory serves me right. I quess you may get away with re-tapping.
