Next Car dilemma
Discussion
Hi All, Looking for some advice (ideally from those who had a similar decision to make).
My current lease (Audi s3) is due up soon and i’m Stuck for what to do next.
I have a really good lease deal available for a Alfa Giulia Volace which would keep me in a brand new car with no real worries for another 2 years. All the toys etc I need in a pretty package, but it just doesn’t get me excited like a new car should.
The next option would be to spend 15k on something like a cayman/boxster, keep some money as a maint fund and have something a bit more fun and special. I only do low miles and can make do with only 2 seats for 90% of the time. My only reservation here is jumping from a brand new car to something around 10 years old. Also will one of the above still feel exciting etc after a few months or if something needs fixing.
Third option (and something I had another thread on) is to go all out and spend 25k on something really special like a Mas GT, AVV, f-type or 911. I could also go for the newest cayman etc that comes in budget. I’d have no maint fund here but can cover the bills if needed, will just mean money is taken from other areas of my life. Tbh for the miles I do I keep thinking this is the option my heart wants but head says no. I don’t want to be stuck with something that needs fixing more then I can drive it, but I’m sure this is the car that I wouldn’t regret if it works and will put the biggest smile on my face.
So there you go, real 1st world problems that I would love some real world advice on
