The garage twice overhauled the original rear callipers saying they were working perfectly and not long after in both cases I had to be recovered travelling home as the brakes started to bind badly with brake dust on the wheels and the wheeling were “ticking” with heat generated, after the second time both complete callipers and pads were replaced and the handbrake only just holding it was backed off that much, it’s only a month since they were replaced and it’s ok doing short trips in town although I can sometimes feel the brake pedal sort of pulse when I’m using it , that’s when a guy suggested knocking off the DTC button on the dash, any help would appreciated.

I can be driving normally and it’ll feel like I’m tapping the brake pedal and the traction warning light comes on as it’s happening, it resolves it a bit when press the DTC button on the dash, if it starts doing after the DTC button is off the ABS warning light comes on then it seems to settle down, next time I start the car up the sequence can start over again, only trouble is the brakes bind as well causing heat build up, it’s a problem I am struggling to get fixed as it does not happen all the time, any suggestions would be appreciated
