Sad really. It doesn't matter how much information we give pilots that they're about to crash unless they do something, some of them will just do what they want anyway, ignoring all warnings and cost people their lives.
On the other hand, I don't like using automated systems to over-ride crew control, despite what I said above so I'm in my own catch-22.
