I apologise for being vague but I'll tell you as much as I know. When turning a corner / going over a bump (sleeping police man etc)and now even in a straight line I hear an occasional knock / thud, mostly from the front passenger side and now sometimes from under the gearbox.

I thought originally the passenger door wasn't closed properly as it sounds very similar but unfortunately not that simple. It sounds very much like the noise of the bonnet bouncing (more a dull thud than a knock)but the bonnet is fine.

I appreciate this is terribly vague but any ideas?

Being in my first month of ownership I still very technically challenged when it comes to anything more complicated than checking fluid levels.

When was the last service? Could be something as simple as the bushes drying out.

Alternatively, broken trailing arm drop link, worn suspension bushes, worn steering bushes, exhaust knocking or engine mounts loose. etc.

The last service was about 3000 miles ago in Jan this year. I think Ill run it into the garage as your list seems quite extensive. Thanks for the reply
