Let's hear it for German watches.

Lots of love here for Stowa, Nomos, Damasko and Lange.

What are your favourites/choices/recommendations?

Totally in love with the Guinand 155 (No.1 on my must have list and will be winging itself to me very soon).

And if money was no object, a trip to Hamburg to get a Hentschel would be on the cards. cool

Let's hear it for the Deutscher watches! smile

A left field choice- the Germans don’t do their own thing but copy the Swiss.

It’s the Wempe Zeitmeister Sport - Wempe being a long established Rolex dealer in Germany. The quality is high.

I really like this, and in particular the Hight-Tide, Low-Tide bezel that shows low tide slightly off 6 hours from high tide as that's that way it is in the real world.

I've only got one German watch - a Nomos Tangente Neomatic 39 Silvercut (on the left). I think it's slim, light and elegant, with small hint of playfulness.

That Dornbluth is a knockout winner from my point of view. However, appreciate others tastes may differ. Would be a dull world of we all liked the same things!
