After 6 years away i have just ‘won’ a 2005 blade on ebay.

Dug all my leathers out the loft and they seem to have shrunk a little but still fit, lid still fine.

However the insurance quotes are killing me - had full licence for 8years, but no no-claims.
£900 is cheapest so far from MCN.

Anything with a fairing will be expensive with no ncb.

I’ll bet with the £900 premium you would have an £800+ excess on top.

Ouch that’s seems steep, might want to budget for a new lid though, they do have a shelf life and 6 years old might be due for renewal.
