Anyone here have a Singer (or perhaps even a Theon) 964?

This is likely to be a long shot, but as they say, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take!

I've been photographing my own car over the years and have even posted about photographing PHer cars a couple of times before but one thing or other always gets in the way with life and end up having to park these ideas.

Well this time I'm all in, with the time and drive to do it properly, and I'd like to start off with something utterly special (at least in my eyes). A 964 touched by Singer is for me a dream car and unlikely to ever be something I'll be able to own, so the next best thing is to photograph one up close and personal, all the details... And then do a little writeup for the forum etc.

I do not work for any publication, not am I affiliated with any, I just love photography and cars and every now and then bring the two together. It would be great to get to know any owner here who has one of these as I've watched every video and read every article on them just never seen one in the flesh nor met anyone who has one to approach this idea with.

Naturally the owner will have copies of all photos in full res with which they can do as they please!

There were 3 (I think) at Luftgekuhlt Bicester last year so definitely some UK registered cars.

I dont think Theon are in the same league. Tuthill are a more worthy subject.

Head over to the 'supercars spotted, some rarities. Within (IIRC) the last two months there was one papped by a PH'er on the roads, and someone mentioned it was a certain PH'er (no recollection of their handle)

With any luck you'll find them.

Andy Bruce - Andy74b on Instagram has taken delivery of a Singer this year....he’s got “quite the garage” and uses his cars as intended so might be a good person to try. He used to be on here, no idea if he’s still active but try via Insta.

And as has been said above a Theon isn’t anything like the quality of a Singer so wouldn’t be a good subject for your photography. Saw there car at the Bicester Sunday Scramble at the beginning of the year....it’s really nothing better than any of the “generic” restomods but they’re trying to create a brand for it like Singer have.
