Astra spanner light

Hello people
Vauxhall astra 2009 1.6 petrol has an issue the car spanner light comes on sometimes. I know this means a fault and have done the pedal test no codes. I have even connected a pro torque reader showing no codes. Any ideas why the light is coming on

Or it could just mean the car is due a service
Vauxhall have a few different spanner lights on their dash, is yours a car outline with a spanner inside it end to end? or a car outline with a spanner up through the roof? or a spanner on its own?

Sounds like the service light.

But even that can leave some codes . Get a garage/mechanic to check it out and advise.

Lots of code readers dont access all the stored codes.

It comes on when you drive like a spanner.
