570s Trackpack
Discussion
I was trying to get info on the track pack on the Senna fire topic ( foolishly) but thats descended into a slagging match. Looks like nice additions with the p1 seats, all Alcantara interior, bigger lip spoiler and telemetry kit. I do like the occasional trackday so a car with this spec would be of interest...do you need to have the pre and post inspections done at a dealer as it may invalidate the warranty if not? Would seem pretty rich given they're selling cars with a 'track pack'!

Sorry mate, just that Juno is an irritating bloke - I think he is a bloke.I think that particular thread may come to end anyway. I've had a slap from the moderators.
Have to say i love the full alcantara interior...was dubious about it before but would defo be looking for it again in the next Mac i get...you feel glued to the seat.
As a suggestion, when you end up buying one, if the owner has tracked it, get a full geometry done by someone whom knows what they are doing asap after buying...mines was all over the shop and scrubbed a very recent set of fronts.
Peace of mind and it also transformed how the car drove.
Best of luck in your search.

I have a track pack car which I may be selling soon. The buckets are wonderful, I had them in my previous 12c also.
You get the p1 telemetry and some lightweight items. Lastly a slightly higher rear lip.
Let me know if you want to take a look around one.
Yes might do where are you based? I'm in East London You get the p1 telemetry and some lightweight items. Lastly a slightly higher rear lip.

There is a good Steve Sutcliffe video on YooToob with a comparison between the on-track performance of the standard car and the Track Pack version:-

From memory, the slightly raised rear lip spoiler on the Track Pack car is the same as the standard one on the GT, the difference is just a little too subtle for me, it needs a more visible rear wing like the (rather expensive) 'High Downforce' wing, or a Novitec type wing.

I am j8 M25. My car has a novitec wing also and a titanium Akrapovic which would probably be too loud for track days I think. I do have the standard sports exhaust for it also. It’s a low mileage car still in warranty with PPF.
If you message me with your number I will WhatsApp you some pics.
A little bit more of a sedate thread !!
The Track Pack dynamically does very little to the car and a large wing on the rear would be aesthetically very nice but would just make the front end even lighter, which is not ideal at speed.
The extra 10mm lip does add a little downforce but with the addition of a wing you would need a deeper front splitter or the outrageously expensive MSO kit to increase the front downforce
The best part of the TP are the super light wheels, the P1 Carbon seats and the full alcantara, particularly the wheel .The Sports exhaust is still relatively quiet though.
Probably over the top at over £16,000 but certainly more sporty than standard

I was close to get one but quiet exhaust noise stopped me....ended up in a 600LT.
With budget no higher than 130k, Track Pack it’s the best Mac out there imho...still fresh and under warranty...and veeery quick.
Great choice, any pics? With budget no higher than 130k, Track Pack it’s the best Mac out there imho...still fresh and under warranty...and veeery quick.
I agree on the exhaust and I had to move to an akrapovic. I will try and upload some pics.

Completely agree,
I was at Silverstone Track Day today and none of the GT3’s, 911 Turbos or the Ferrari 458’s could get close.
This is one of the main points about Mclarens, they are very rapid on Track and really the only place you can fully exploit there performance . I like the idea of loud exhausts but to be honest they are pretty well useless on track so best stick to the Sports pipes . The 600lt must be a brutal track Car and perhaps will upgrade later in the year
