Went to see a mate in Essex yesterday, came back today. 220 miles with the top down, fantastic! Car survived the M25 traffic & heat with no probs. Still grinning.

Looks like I can now blow some of my reserve getting the hood done and some new carpets.

Glad to hear it mate, it's always a worrying time the first month or so with your new p&j. Wondering if you've bought a good one or done the right thing.
If you fancy meeting up and showing it off one Saturday then let me know, though I'll be Chim'less as mine goes into the bodyshop for 3-4 weeks next Saturday as my neighbour reversed into my rear wing. £3500 of damage - Ouch!!! At least his insurance is paying up.
